Tonight, flying to Beijing..

I know, i'm 2 weeks ahead to go to Beijing. When I book the flight, I was still in Beijing, I'm afraid I didn't get the ticket since sept is holiday season in Indonesia, where Indonesia celebrate "Hari Raya Idul Fitri", so I need to book the ticket fast. The reason I book 2 weeks ahead of the schedule are to get single room at dorm #17 ( even now I know, it still seems impossible) and have a time to go around Beijing or another city with my friends.

But the plan is only plan, since my close friend, S, didn't get the ticket on Sept 2nd, so she decided to go around Shanghai first with her parents before going to Beijing.

Packing
Hahaha.. reading my feb post, where I already packed three days before departure, and the present time, I just pack on the morning the day of departure. I just bring 2 clothes, 2 jeans, 2 shorts, 1 mini skirt, and 1 jumper. I bring a lot of personal product, (reading my previous post, where I said I don't want to bring many, instead I bring a lot right now), and Indonesia's products (instant noodle, instant seasoning, snack, traditional medicine, medicine) and sadly I bring my chinese language book back to prepare for placement test and review (not using chinese for 1.5 months).

I use a lot of zipper bag, to organize and to avoid the stuff to spill inside.. hahaha..

I don't know why I feel excite, yet nervous.. but remember these the 2nd time I'm going to Beijing, I don't need to have these kinda feeling... oh my heart please stop making me nervous.. -.-;

I'm going to Beijing by Garuda Indonesia.. It's been so long since I ride one, and these the first time I ride GA after GA is given 4 star rank airline by Skytrax and also with new uniform.. :) see my post about it in here.

Next post in Beijing.. :3

Packing, but not yet..

On Sept 2th, I will fly to Beijing.
But, right now, I'm still not packing yet...

I don't know I still don't have the mood yet, already decided not to take many things to Beijing, since I already have many stuff down there, and will buy new things again.

*looking my old post for review*

1. Document : Ticket, JW 202, Passport, etc.
2. Medicine : Traditional Medicine from Indonesia.
3. Money
4. Electronic
5. Clothes (not many!!)
6. Personal Use : but I think, I might skip these, since we can buy almost everything there.

The last time, I found out, there are people suggesting to bring deodorant, sunblock, or lotion from your country, but I found it in China, well, in China, more expensive, but they have.

Going to start packing on the evening, after dinner, I hope then I already have the mood.. :)

My tips : Don't bring a lot of unnecessary things from your country, since China have almost everything and cheap. Well, if you wear uncommon size of clothes and shoes, you must bring it, because Chinese People are smaller. I bought men shoes there for sport, since they don't have my size.. ( I know, my foot are big.. XD~ )

One more thing, if you don't like cheap stuff or love the quality stuff, bring it. Since well, cheap stuff!!
便宜没好货,好货不便宜。

Meaning : Cheap stuff are not good, Good Stuff not cheap.
Chinese Idioms, you will learn on school, and use it often after buy stuff in China.

BLCU Conference Centre Room

The very last look of my room before I left Beijing.

The Bathroom

Sorry for the messy room.. Hahaha..

The prices for single room is 115 RMB / day, the same prices for single room on #17.

(-) It's a small room. Most of my friends screamed when went to my room.
(-) Small space for the inventory. I don't have the wardrobe pictures, forgot. Well my wardrobe is broken also, it's not really efficient, and it was so small. That's why you can see the blanket standing around beside TV.
(-) There are night curfew now. When you went home after 12, the door will be locked. And you need to show the key of your room. And I heard you have to report the guest, guest cant stayover.
(-) Laundry room only on 4th floor and 6th floor, Kitchen on 7th floor.

(+) Not loud like #17. You barely heard someone on corridor. Quiet places. I heard #17 have the thin wall.
(+) Free breakfast. With selection of mantou, cold dishes, coffee / tea, porridge, soft cake, and cookies.
(+) The Hotel staff are nicer than the #17 staff.
(+) Carpet. Warm and Nice in winter.
(+) Close to the classroom
(+) Reservation is easy!! I just write down my name, not like #17.
(+) Cleaned everyday, bed sheet are changed once a week.

About safety. I will honestly tell you, once, I lost some of my money inside my room. I know it's my fault too, since I didn't place it in safe places, or lock the place where I hide my money. Or unlucky. My friend hide his money on his book, and he place it on his table, the money is fine. Not before I lost the money, the housekeeper is rotated, the usual young two who clean my room are moved to other floor, and I've got the 2 old lady who not really nice. I can't accuse them, since I don't have any proof. Read here.

Oh yeah, one time I found my door left unlocked. The housekeeper after clean my room, they didn't close the door fully. If you push the door, my room can be opened easily.

And in front of CC, my Thai friend lost his electric bike. He just left it for a while on the afternoon, he didn't lock the bike, he just took the key, because he thought he will comeback not long after. And his bike was gone. CC don't have parking area for bike. You just park them in front of the building. where the back library were. While in #17, there are guards and large parking area with fences around it. I often left my bike, just took the key, without lock the tire, and it's always fine.

Well, on anywhere, we need to be careful. Because on #17, there also someone who lost laptop, because forgot to lock the room.

Crime happened, because there were an opportunity to do it.

The photo collection of each students of B1班 as gifts to all our theachers

来老师 received the gift.

闫老师 received the gift.

There were 7 Korean, 6 Japanese, 2 Indonesian, 2 Thailand, 1 Italian, 1 Sri Lanka, and 1 Mauritius, 20 people on one class. We have 4 teachers, 何老师,王老师,来老师,闫老师。何老师 was replaced by 闫老师,because she was selected to teach Mandarin in Thailand suddenly. She is the best teacher!! She is so friendly, nice, young and really care about all her students. We really miss her..

With classmates who most of them were Korean and Japanese. You really can learn the difference of stereotype of Japanese and Korean. Everyday of my life like the scenes from Japanese or Korean Drama. Korean are more extrovert, while Japanese are introvert. Most of my Japanese classmates received the prizes for attending class full time ( 20 hours/week, 20weeks/ term ), while Korean, 2 of 7 Korean are not allowed to attend the Final Test. :)

The prize for attending class full time. It's not mine.

Thank you for all the experiences, guys. 我忘不了你们!如果`有机会, 咱们可以再见!

Giant Sauna in China

It was the big title from Indonesia's Newspaper yesterday, Giant Sauna in China.

Is it true, these year are the longest summer in China? I mean, everytime I saw the weather forecast on my computer desktop, I always saw the beijing's weather is about 28-30 degree celcius, it's not that hot. Just saw that the date when the reporter came to Beijing was on the end of July. It's so late news.. Hahaha..

The introduction is not only about the weather, but also how the china people react to the heat, where the reporter said..
You can see many man riding car or truck without clothes, riding bicycle without clothes, and walking on the street without clothes, on afternoon and evening.
The first time I realized about these habit of China people to walking around on public without clothes was when I visit Guang Zhou. You can see they all walking around without clothes, with all sweat over the body and talking about business with others.

One time, I went to eating MaLaTang 麻辣烫 (Ah, I'm not yet talking about it!!), there were 2 chinese guy eating on the street without clothes, drinking beer. One of my friends, it was the first time for her to saw it, and it was so strange for her. In Indonesia, the one who wear nothing on the street were insane people.

Back to the news, the reporter interview one of the chinese guy said to her that the hottest weather will be on October. -.-;; On october, it should be already Fall. Maybe lost in translation. I thought the hottest weather should be on August.
